The Association Of Linux Friends

The Association of Linux Friends is a free computer training center situated at Mokindi new road Limbe II.


Linux Friends enable us to be computer literate, i am really impress with the courses that are being offered in linux friends, the advance students are doing their best, they are very friendly, making studies very easy for us. Despite the above, we the students have some difficulties, which are listed below:We have limited space for studies, limited computers, No toilet, there is also the problem of kitchen to classroom, that is, the kitchen is beside the classroom of which it disturbs us when studying. That not withstanding, i am grateful with the association of Linux friends and, I pray that God's grace be upon the lives of our proprietor and the president of the association, may God contineously bless them.

It is with profound joy that am being previlaged to study in this Association.I was overwhelm with cordiality of both the advance students and the student coupled to the fact that the gap between the advance students and students has been bridge giving a congenial atmosphere for studying. To study in the Association of Linux Friends is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Being conversant and taking into cognisance that this Association, i will like unvail that it is a priceless piece of education being offered at no cost to the student interested. I will like to encourage anybody who want to be a computer literate to came to the Association of Linux Friends for it is the solution to all computer illiteracy. There is also the organisation of prayer sessions on wednesdays which is an essence and a premodial need in life. Well as the saying goesTHE STORY IS LONG BUT THERE IS NO TIME TO FINISH IT i will recapitulate at this point and will pray that the Good God will continually Bless them and its board members help that it grows form strength to strength. SIMON FREEBOY is studying computer in Linux Friends Mokindi Limbe II. He wishes to express his sincere gratitude to the ASSOCIATION OF LINUX FRIENDS for the free training they are offering to the community of LIMBE. Though the students face some difficulties, they still ride on hoping that things will be amended soon.

Some of the courses we offer are awareness, spreadsheet(excel), writer(word), impress(power point), html, php(programming), networking, scribus, database(mysql) etc... Classes are schedule in the morning from 10:00am to 1:oopm, and in the evening it begins from 6pm to 8pm. The advance students who help in giving out lessons are devoted to their job in effect giving their best to the new students.The students are happy with the method of teaching and praying that God should continue to guide, protect and give the advance students more inspiration to run the Association well now and in the nearest future. In Linux Friends the advance students are friendly, they bring the new student closer to them and they make sure that the students understand what so ever they are teaching. After some period of time, they test the students by giving exams. We the students of linux friends are appealing to the public for financial assistance so as to improve on some of the social amenities of the school. We will be happy if our plead will be granted. ASSOCIATION OF LINUX FRIENDS est un centre ou l'on apprend beaucoup dans l'informatique. Je l'ai rencontré un jour quand je voulais faire une photocopie.Emerveillé par les gens qui manipulaient l'ordinateur facilement,j'ai été poussée à prendre des amples infos. Celui que j'ai rencontré à la reception ne faisait pas du tout bonne mine. Bon ben à force d'insister j'ai pu avoir une solution. Mon 1er jour de classe n'était pas facile parcequ'on parlait plus l'anglais mais avec le temps j'ai pris de l'envol.Parlant de l' environement ASSOCIATON OF LINUX FRIENDS est située à isokolo nouvelle route à l'inverse du carrefour AMINATOU SQUARE connu presque par tous les taximens de la ville.Là nous avons deux niveaux ie 1&2.Au niveau 1 nous faisons face à cinq matières:AWARNESS, WRITERS, IMPRESS, SPREADSHEET,HTML. Je ne pourias parler du niveau2 parce que je suis pas encore là.Les cours sont bien dispensès d'une part et la pratique en d'autre part.Parlant des relations entre professeurs et éléves ça coule de source.Bref nous vivons comme en famille.Le comble c'est que nous faisons face a certaines difficultés qui nous poussent à les énumérer tq:le manque des machines et l'aération dans les salles de classe. A tout prendre, cette association nous amène à s'imposer au monde actuel car l'analphabète aujourd'hui est celui là qui ne maitrise pas l'outil informatique... NADINE.K
