This is a piece of land of Mama Mokum Justine given to Friendly Mixed Farming Group in Bamenda as her own support to aliviates proverty in this region, The land is cultivated by Members of this group because it is very big to be done by one person.
Now the crop is planted, the name of this crop is cassava and it is a tuber. The crop will be havested after one year,it is consumed as: Bobolo,Gari,Minyondo,Waterfufu,Komkom.
On picture two, we see a member carring animal dung to apply on the farm to make the soil fertile, so that the crops can produce well.
After one year the cassava is ready and Friendly Mixed Farming Group do the harvesting.

Now the cassava is harvested.
Now the cassava is tranported to the house where the final work is done.
After the cassava has been process into gari, Friendly Mixed Farming Group consume some, gives some to family members and the rest is carried to the market for sale. Thier reasons for selling is because they need other food items like oil, maggi, salt and rice.

Friendly mixed farming group have the honour to apply for a grant to enhance thier project, the production and processing of cassava. We are presently exploiting 4 hectares of farm land and we intend to expand this farm as large as possible if we have the means.
