SOFTWARE FREEDOM DAY 2010 LIMBE

We had talks with OpenOffice Foundation in Switzerland, in the city of zurich. We discussed with some of the workers. We made them to understand that we like OpenOffice.org Writer, Impress and calc. We discussed with some persons of e-learning moodle Foundation. They where happy to talk with us, we were also happy. E-learning is very useful to us, we used it to create lessons and quiz, Michel also made many presentations on Free and Open source software which you can see and view on youtube.

Software Freedom day started on the 17th of september in Limbe with a siminar on Free and Open Source Software, explaining the meaning of free and Open Source Software, and it advantages. We also install Ubuntu on 6 different computers, showing them our to install the different linux distributions. We also had debate, the debate topic was the advantages of Linux Operating system over the Windows operating system. Beside we had ballate dance.

On the 18th of September 2010, we had a chat session with other Open Source groups in Switzerland like the OpenOffice Foundation and the Moodle Foundation.
