Event computer for everybody and everywhere

The event began with an Opening Prayer at 10:00am headed by Patience. Followed by the National Anthem and a welcome song. Firstly, there was background information on the Association from it creation in 2006 .

To Begin with, the members of the Association Presented the various Beginners Courses which are: Awareness, Writer, Spreadsheet, HTML, they were given room to explain practically on the computer. More so, we had visitors from Switzerland Mathias and Angela who talked about a 3d printer which was a surprise to the participant.

Furthermore the solar system was presented with solar equipments such as solar batteries, solar panels, controller just to name a few, it was noticed that some of the invited personalities had never seen a solar system. So the parents and invited personalities were given a chance to ask questions on their doubts which were all clarified. Also, the video courses was presented by Ngome Emmanuel, and the participant were made to understand that with this video lessons, one can study without the help of a teacher. The members of the association where dressed in uniform, they all participated in one way or the other.

Participants included Tanyi Christian of the Martin Luters foundation in Limbe, Harry Ngum from the IT Department of the University of Buea, Appeh Mathias a teacher in G.H.S Limbe, Masango Sone from Green Cameroon Buea, Neba Cletus from Kumba MINTEC, Makoh Julienne and Shafack Christy both computer engineers, Just to name a few.

Conclusively, Database which is a course in the advance class was presented by Mr Suh Augustine. The event ended with some refreshments and musical interlude at 2:30pm.

 

In the school of Linux Friends in Limbe, an event took place about the school, 3d printer and computer and solar. it began at 10 am with the following program

group of students present the different program they are studying. after just 2 months, their knowledge was impressive as well as the way how they made their presentation.

Andrea and Matthiews present the 3 d printer of the school. the print some little objects. it was many questions about this technology, from the problem , that we can build guns with this technology, up to how can we use this technology for the reality in africa.
