Government Bilingual Technical High School (G.B.T.H.S) - Limbe, Glorious College of Excellence (G.C.E)-Limbe and Intensive Inter Comprehensive High School - Limbe Internship Students at Linux Friends (April 2022)

This year, Linux friends received internship letters from the administration of both G.B.T.H.S, G.C.E and I.I.C.H.S for their students offering Secretariat Duties, Accountancy and Electricity respectively. These students were in total 22. The goal is to prepare them practically for the up coming national exams that is the Ordinary Level General Certificate Education for the academic year 2021/2022.

The expected skills to be acquired are Spreadsheet or calc, OpenOffice base, customer services, filling of vouchers and invoices, computer aided and accounting software programs, photocopying, bininding, all other of office work and Solar energy.

Our aim is to provide these students with an opportunity to develop understand$ of the basic operations of a computer system and computer application softwares. Meanwhile, they also develop the skill of using computer application softwares for solving problems.
