International Girls in Tech Day 2022

For girls and young women to thrive in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers, they need safe and reliable access to the internet and digital tools. This notion led to the theme of this year's International Girls in Tech Day "Access and Safety". This day was celebrated on April 30th 2022 at AIMS Cameroon - Limbe.

Linux Friends was one of the institutions invited to partake in the commemoration of this day. There were talks on how girls can be protected on the internet and other digital tools. Also young girls where encouraged to join the fields of TECH. The presentation of the robot was done by a female Advance class students of Linux Friends. This is to show that, all students are given equal opportunities at the Association.
